Scholarship Announcement

The Monmouth County AGO offers a scholarship to Monmouth County residents who are high school seniors or full time college students who are organ students or preparing for a career in church music.  The scholarship is named in memory of Helen Antonides, Dean from 1948-1950, and was established in 1989 as part of the Diamond Jubilee Celebration of the Monmouth AGO. If you have a student or know of someone who might be interested, please ask them to contact either Shirley Norby or Camille Thompson.  Applications are due on May 15, 2008.

Applicants will be asked to play a prepared hymn of their choice, a piece by a major Baroque period composer and either a 19th or 20th century composition.
